Obvious self promotion can be off putting but good, clever original design ideas rarely fails to please. It is an opportunity for you to develop the kind of work which leaves the viewer with the 'I wish i had done that' reaction. It is about pushing yourself further and honing your skills in an area that interests you, but is work which sits well in the context of contemporary design.
