Starting Fresh

Has had a brainwave. New idea starts today

Halfabet

Playing around with the alphabet and seeing the letters more as abstract shapes

left handed pencil

Started doing some illustrations (mainly because i ran out of printer ink and cant print out research etc) anyway, the drawings have been going better than they used to, the days of frustration through illustration are well and truly behind me. Maybe considering incorporating some into my self promotion project...

Things i hear

Sometimes i hear things and it has no impact on me at all. Today i heard these two phrases and i had to quickly jot down an idea for a poster which i made when i got home.

Self promotion initial stages. Looking at poems and wordplay

There was an Old Person of Dutton,
Whose head was as small as a button,
So, to make it look big,
He purchased a wig,
And rapidly rushed about Dutton.

Inspiration

I absolutely love these, probably the best pieces of work i've stumbled upon in a long time

Magazine spread

This was one of our final projects for the second year, Editorial design. The brief was centred around global warming but we had to take our own approach to it. I chose nuclear power and went with quite a minimalist black and white feel.
